I had been using whatever lifting hooks were on sale and a pair usually lasts about 2.3 to 3 months. These Grizzly lifting hooks canvas started to tear along the length on the hook on the second use and were completely falling apart by the end of the first week. I read on another site about the problems and one person suggested using duct tape to reinforce the hooks themselves. I did that with some success- until the base of the hook ripped on the second week.
Just plain poorly made.

For just over $16 they are great! Heavey duty and comfortable and they work on barbells as well as dumb bells!
